The first “DSDS” season without Dieter Bohlen has arrived in its hot phase, the must-see live shows are already on the schedule for next week. Nine talents got their tickets during the callback, and two other candidates are still fighting to enter. The reason: Mechito, who was in the top ten after the recall, was later kicked out of the competition by Florian Silbereisen because he concealed an earlier conviction. Emine Knapczyk and Dominik Simmen fight for their place in a big song during the first live show.
Domenico Tarantino, on the other hand, is sure to be there, and he got the gold record from Ilse DeLange in the show’s first phase. During the encore in Italy, he performed Toploader’s “Dancing in the Moonlight” – and the jury was out.
Ilse DeLange dances on the table
The judges were in good spirits during the final round of decisions before the live shows, Florian Silbereisen, Ilse DeLange and Toby Gad were always swept away by the music. The situation only really “degenerated” during Domenico’s performance: Ilse DeLange spontaneously climbed onto the jury desk and ushered the contestant in for a little dance performance. Florian Silbereisen and Toby Gad also rose from their seats, but preferred to stay down to earth.

Among the three new jurors, Ilse DeLange is undoubtedly the biggest hitter, which she has once again demonstrated. However, social media users were less carried away by the moment. On the contrary, there were mocking comments towards the 44-year-old woman and her colleagues. For example, one viewer wrote:
“When you see the jury dancing like that, you don’t want to believe they all have something to do with the music.”
This fan’s verdict is simply: “Uncomfortable”.
This user specifically targeted Ilse DeLange and Domenico with their post. “My God, now the two idiots have to dance on the podium too! Even Flori is too embarrassed!” she fumes.
Finally, another fan doubts that the judges can really focus on the contestants’ performances if they themselves constantly provide action:
This is not the first time that Ilse DeLange has been criticized. The judge usually sings with the competitors. Some fans consider this to be disrespectful, although she certainly doesn’t mean it wrong. With the dance number, she raised the stakes again.
Mathias Mester stormed the hearts of “Let’s Dance” fans and quickly danced into the circle of favorites. Ex-professionals Oana Nechiti and Erich Klann already mentioned in their podcast a “hero’s journey” that the short candidate has traced. However, his performances on the show are not 100% consistent: on show six, he made a glaring mistake in the rumba, the jury awarded only 16 points. In the last edition, the 35-year-old turned up the pressure even more, Joachim Llambi and Co. scored 26 points for the jive with Renata.
