Legendary Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos still has a long way to go before he achieves that status at PSG.
The Spaniard arrived this summer with a huge, well-founded reputation and above all a desire to bring his experience to the table to finally allow Paris to break through that glass ceiling that is a Champions League win. No matter how he finishes the season, it’s already going to be a complete failure. The ex-Real Madrid player has barely played all season at PSG and he couldn’t be the key element in a double confrontation against his former club where he could have been crucial. Nevertheless, the 2010 world champion is one of the club’s top earners and has a contract until June 2023.

A real nightmare for Leonardo who has to take on this recruitment or get rid of discreetly this summer. It even seemed like some kind of work to limit the break but Sergio Ramos clearly doesn’t see it that way. In an interview with Amazon Prime and one of his agents, Ludovic Giuly, PSG’s very discreet centre-back in the media, surprised everyone. Including the Paris fans and probably Paris SG management too. In fact, the Spaniard doesn’t count a single second to leave Paris and even plans to extend his contract for another season, still seeing himself playing at the highest level for 4 or 5 years.
Confidence in Ludovic Giuly
” I would like to play at a high level for another four to five years and then gain more experience. Here, I have two years in Paris, we’ll try to do three, one more, and then we’ll see. But as long as the physical holds, I think I can focus my mind ” declared the 36-year-old player who will shock Paris SG. Especially when it comes to physical exertion, which is not the case at all this season. Neither the previous one, as he could barely finish the previous practice at Real Madrid, which didn’t stop Paris SG from giving him the package. With seven games this season in the Paris shirt, Sergio Ramos risks running out of arguments to scrap a contract extension for the time being. Just the idea of it makes the Parisian supporters laugh out loud for the time being.
