The classic multiplayer map Jungle returns

The first-person shooter “Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War” will receive more content in the coming weeks. In addition to a classic multiplayer map, new weapons and more are also offered.

As Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone gear up for the Season 3 launch, Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is also getting more content.

Another classic returns

As the developers in a recent blog entry announced that players can expect a new multiplayer map, two additional weapons, Zombies mode updates, and more content. After the release last month of the classic “WMD” map and the Vargo 52 assault rifle, this time “Jungle” will celebrate its return. The map was first featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops back in 2010 and has seen numerous remakes over the years.

Additionally, a new ranged weapon and a melee weapon are to be added. New operator skins, weapon blueprints, finishing moves, and cosmetic items will also be available in the in-game store. Outbreak and Onslaught will receive some tweaks, while also planning to add a new secret for players who have completed all zombie missions so far.

However, the developers have yet to reveal specific dates for the new content. While Jungle and the Ranged Weapon are expected to release in the coming weeks, the Melee Weapon should be available in the not too distant future. Zombies adjustments will in turn appear with the new games season running on April 27, 2022.
