The virus is circulating in Occitania, beware

A daily average of 11,344 positive cases have been identified in the region since last Friday. This corresponds to a total of almost 79,406 cases.
The incidence rate for each department remains very high. It is the Gard and the Hérault that have the highest spread of the virus this week. The ARS recalls that “the epidemic is not over yet” and calls for vigilance “especially on the eve of the Easter holidays, which are conducive to family reunions”, particularly through the application of lockdown gestures.
Beware of fragile people
In its point this Friday, the regional administration promotes the protection of vulnerable people from Covid-19. “Some people are more at risk of contracting a severe form of Covid-19, particularly the elderly or those who are immunocompromised. Therefore, it is important for the most vulnerable to maintain all barrier gestures, especially in closed spaces and large gatherings,” informs the ARS.
A little help from those around you is welcome. Wearing a mask is a simple gesture that can protect the most vulnerable. Finally, on medical prescription, vulnerable people can equip themselves with FFP2 masks for optimal efficiency.
