“She must not become president”: Patrick Cohen sharp about the candidate Marine Le Pen

Invited on the set of C à vous, Jordan Bardella was confronted with a combative Patrick Cohen. The journalist couldn’t help but send Marine Le Pen tackles.

Patrick Cohen will not mince his words in front of Jordan Bardellainvited on Friday April 15 on the set of It depends on you. Indeed, the interim president of the National Rally had initiated Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine’s issuance to defend Marine Le Pen’s program. But between the journalist and the MP, the debate quickly turned sour. Especially when Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine asked about the reasons why the RN contestant didn’t want to be on the show It depends on you.

confronted with this question, Jordan Bardela strove to give a satisfactory explanation : “I won’t deny you that certain journalists on certain programs have trouble hiding their animosity towards Marine Le Pen.” Patrick Cohen couldn’t help himself in the face of such a remark to send a tackle to the candidate : “If she’s afraid of journalists, she mustn’t become president, I’m telling you like this,” he throws at him, annoyed by the MEP’s answers and by the attitude of Emmanuel Macron’s opponent. Faced with this attack, Jordan Bardella replied: “You are indeed one of those people, Mr. Cohen, who finds it difficult to hide their animosity.”

Patrick Cohen: “You knowingly tell canards”.

Right at the beginning of the show The two men were not consistent on a particular topic : “Marine Le Pen stated at a meeting in Avignon yesterday that Emmanuel Macron was trying to introduce a European minimum wage that would lower the French minimum wage to 700 euros. That’s wrong, you know full well it’s wrong… Sorry, but it’s a duck,” explained Patrick Cohen, before continuing: “You seriously believe that we are going to align the French minimum wage with the Romanian minimum wage. It’s ridiculous (…) You’re an MEP (…) You knowingly tell canards”.
