This wealthy buyer buys two very rare Bugattis and buys six for his children

Buying a Bugatti is a real experience. And that’s understandable given the multi-million euro price tag applied to the various models of the luxury car brand. The manufacturer sometimes receives its customers in its stronghold of Molsheim to deliver their copy of the Chiron. “For them, it’s an opportunity to step onto the same ground as Ettore Bugatti and touch or immerse themselves in a century of Bugatti history,” explains the company recently acquired by the Rimac Group.

It was therefore only natural that Bugatti welcomed one of its customers to Château Saint-Jean – “in the heart of the Bugatti residence” – to deliver its Chiron Super Sport 300+ and a Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition in their orange – Presented in black paintwork. The wealthy buyer set out with his six children to discover these works of art on wheels, explore the Bugatti workshop and “see how the brand’s hyper sports cars are made”.

And the kids were spoiled, because their father finally made them custom-made with six Bugatti Baby IIs. The small yellow, red, green, blue, orange and white cars were lined up in front of the Château Saint-Jean to take a picture for the occasion. As a reminder, this Bugatti Baby II is a miniature version of the famous Type 35, powered by an electric generator that allows it to reach a top speed of 67.6 km/h. It is equipped with a battery that gives it a range of 50 kilometers.

Bugatti even allowed himself to make a little joke on his client. The latter had long been known to the brand and befriended Andy Wallace, the official Bugatti driver.

Lifting the silk veil that hid the car, the Bugatti teams led the buyer to believe it was equipped with “new voice-activated starting technology”.

At the same time, while in the car, Andy Wallace pushed the start button and made the Chiron “come to life at the sound of the voice.” The total eruption.

In addition to this 1,600 hp hypercar, the buyer therefore offered a Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition. “In 2013 it became the fastest convertible in the world and reached a top speed of 408.84 km/h,” Bugatti recalls. The big sister of the Chiron has the W16 8.0 quadriturbo from the Hufeisen brand, which develops 1,200 hp here. Only eight examples of this model were “produced and delivered”. It benefits from the official certification of La Maison Pur Sang, which “certifies the authenticity of models of any age” manufactured by the Ettore Bugatti company.

This very special customer of the luxury car manufacturer paid an estimated 7,361,000 euros for these eight vehicles.

In summary

Bugatti publishes images of a reception organized for one of its most loyal customers. The latter offered a Chiron Super Sport 300+ and a Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition in 2022. Accompanied by his six children, he also left with a Bugatti Baby II for each of them. He would have spent around €7,361,000 to be able to afford these vehicles.
