‘Bauer sucht Frau’ star distracts RTL show partner from wanting to have kids

A new season of “Bauer sucht Frau” with international farmers will start in April on RTL. Facilitator Inka Bause tries again to connect farmers with partners. In the 16th season, she managed to do this thanks to detours with young farmer Patrick Romer and his girlfriend Antonia Hemmer.

At that time, he invited a total of six women, three of whom came to his farm. In the meantime, Antonia left the farm due to competitive pressure, only to return at the very end and still fall in love with Patrick. The two have been in a long-distance relationship for a year and a half – although topics such as marriage and children are slowly but surely playing a role.

In the current episode “Farmer Seeks a Wife – What’s Happening on the Farms?” the couple were visited and asked for updates and Patrick thought of a clever distraction strategy to at least temporarily satisfy Antonia’s desire to have children. Apparently, the cattle farmer isn’t quite ready to be a dad (yet).

Farmer Patrick considers an alternative to motherhood

First, Patrick assured RTL viewers that he and Antonia are still happy with each other – unlike Peter and Kerstin, who announced their separation a few days ago. Patrick revealed:

“Antonia and I have been together for about a year and a half now and our long distance relationship is going really well, we see each other every two to three weeks and then sometimes for a week or two at a time. We are super happy.”

And he found something very special for the RTL shoot. Turning to Antonia, he explained to her in the car at the reunion show: “You really want offspring. We are going to have offspring – in a different form. I thought about it: we’ll adopt a few llamas!

His girlfriend was very happy with the suggestion and replied, “Shut up! Oh my god darling, I’m so excited! I’m just gonna be a llama mom. Patrick did not escape Antonia’s urgent question with the action, she asked emphatically immediately afterwards: “So when are we going to have real babies?” Patrick then said, “We don’t have to rush,” which Antonia acknowledged with a roll of her eyes.

Patrick, who probably already thought he was off the hook with the llama’s sponsorship when it came to the children’s discussion, calmly explains again: “First of all, we want to spend a little more time together, don’t we? You know: you have to get married first and then have children.

In a one-on-one interview, he also explained: “I am currently still studying and a child needs the right environment to grow up in and of course you have to be able to afford a child.” He also added with a smile:

“Of course, it’s not possible as a poor student. You have to create a good foundation for a child.”

But Antonia was also not so ignorant in the RTL interview when it came to the action with the llamas and said: “Maybe he wanted to distract me a bit from my desire to have children. and think: “The old lady is happy if she now has a sponsorship, so it will be fine for now and she won’t bother me for the next few weeks.”However, she also acknowledged, “I thought it was very, very nice that he was so creative now and thought of something.”

Because she also finds the gesture of adopting an animal in need to be excellent – Antonia can therefore support the project with a clear conscience. According to Patrick, it was “only” a symbolic sponsorship of the lamas. The couple ended up wanting to donate money to a shrine and walk with the lamas.

However, this backfired forcefully when all the lamas gathered around the bucket of food that Patrick was holding in his hands and shyly handed it to Antonia. However, she was also overwhelmed — maybe a practice session with animals isn’t a bad idea before they get serious about kids.

Antonia and Patrick continue to defy breakup rumors

At least Antonia was already convinced that Patrick would do just fine as a father as the two examined little lambs: “I think if we had a child now, he would be absorbed in him as well. It always comes a little later with the men, it’s only when the child is there that all the men feel it.”said Antonia.

Patrick also considers himself a “sensational dad” – but until the two live together, there’s likely to be nothing with joint offspring just yet. It may also be necessary to settle some differences beforehand, because there are always separation rumors on social networks about the “Bauer sucht Frau” couple.

For example, they did not celebrate Christmas or the New Year together last year, Patrick preferred to spend the holidays with friends and family. Antonia, in turn, recently flew on holiday without her partner and said: “I’ll tell you: it’s super awesome.

Especially regarding the end of the year, Antonia also pointed out that the split rumors were absolutely false: “I didn’t really want to make a big deal out of it. Don’t worry, everything is fine with us, just a topic we are talking about to discuss.”

Despite dating rumors about Mats Hummels, the soccer pro and his wife Cathy celebrated Easter together. Cathy Hummels posted photos on Instagram that show, among other things, how the two play with their son Ludwig.
