Manchester United: Bruno Fernandes crushes Protz-Porsche

Personal injury on Easter Monday…

Man United star Bruno Fernandes (27) was involved in an accident on Monday morning. According to ‘Mirror’, the Portuguese crashed his Porsche Panamera (an electric car) into a Volkswagen. Fernandes and all the occupants of the Porsche (value: approx. 113,430 euros) escaped without serious injuries. It is not known if the car was totaled.

It was also unclear whether anyone was injured in the other car, which had slid into a wooden garden fence and in which the airbag had deployed.

On Tuesday evening, the Red Devils play in the Premier League at Liverpool FC (9 p.m., live Sky and HERE in the ticker). In the first leg at Old Trafford in October 2021, there was a hearty 0-5 slap against coach Jürgen Klopp’s team (54). ManUnited must do without five professionals: Edinson Cavani, Scott McTominay, Luke Shaw, Raphael Varane and Fred are not even going to Liverpool.

ManUnited interim coach Ralf Rangnick (63) on Monday afternoon: “Yes, he (Bruno Fernandes; editor’s note) trained with the team. Apparently the accident happened on the Carrington Road (this is where ManUnited’s training center is located). As far as I know, no one has been injured. He is fine and will be ready for action tomorrow.

Bruno Fernandes (contract until 2026, from Sporting Lisbon) has been an important professional for ManUnited since his move in January 2020, scoring 49 goals in 120 competitive games for record-breaking champions England.

United are currently fifth in the Premier League, three points behind fourth-placed Tottenham (eligible to play in the Champions League). In addition to Liverpool, the final games of the season are against the following opponents: Arsenal (A), Chelsea (H), Brentford (H), Brighton & Hove Albion (A) and Crystal Palace (H).
