Bitcoin Veteran Anthony Pompliano Denies Crypto Price Predictions After Incorrectly Predicting 0,000 Bitcoin

In response to the recent criticism on social media, longtime Bitcoin advocate Anthony Pompliano said BTC has shown him that price predictions are a fool’s game.

Pompliano, who co-founded investment firm Morgan Creek Digital, recently received a backlash from some members of the crypto community for removing Bitcoin from his Twitter bio amid the current price issues of the top cryptocurrencies.

Pompliano has also removed laser eyes – the bullish symbol for BTC – from his Twitter profile picture, after years of vocal support for the asset and making huge Bitcoin price predictions.

Pompliano, however, Negates He changed his mind about BTC.

“The truth is, I haven’t changed my mind about anything. Not only do I have a deep belief in bitcoin and its future potential, but I’ve also bought more bitcoin, both personally and professionally, over the past few months.

While my faith in Bitcoin is deeper than ever, there are a number of things that have changed though.”

The investor notes that BTC will “make anyone humble.”

“In June 2019, with Bitcoin at around $12,000, I predicted that the asset would go up to $100,000 in 2.5 years. Instead of increasing ~8x, the price of Bitcoin only went up 6x in that time frame. Some people might argue the difference doesn’t matter. , but in the end I was wrong. It was a wonderful reminder that humans cannot predict the future and price predictions are a fool’s play. Bitcoin helped my humility.”

At the time of writing, Bitcoin was exchanging hands at $21,300, an increase of more than 10% on the day.
