Cryptocurrency market cap is less than  trillion;  Bitcoin down 8.4%, Ethereum down 6.39%


All major cryptocurrencies and tokens traded with losses, and as a result, the cryptocurrency market cap fell below the $1 trillion mark on Wednesday morning.

The global cryptocurrency market was down 5.94 percent to $998.15 at 8.30 am. Trading volume rose 21.94 percent to $90.08 billion, according to Coinmarketcap data.

The volume of the decentralized finance coin division is approximately $7.49 billion, or 7.4 percent of the total 24-hour cryptocurrency market volume. All stablecoins have a volume of $93.47 billion, or about 92.38 percent of the total cryptocurrency market volume in the last 24 hours.

The big winner was Terra Classic (your color). It rose 11.79 percent to $0.00035. The biggest loser was helium (HNT), down 13.27 percent at $4.60.

Cryptocurrency rates

Bitcoin: BTC fell 8.4 percent to $2,0388.05.

Bitcoin traded with gains for the greater part of September 13, but sometime around 5.54 pm BTC price dropped from $22,600 levels to $21,202 levels within an hour. It continued to decline further until it established intraday lows around the $20,000 price levels at 3.44 AM on September 14th.

The intraday low was $20,062.67 while its volume was up 7.52% at $51,259,309,952.

Ethereum: Ethereum The price fell 6.39 percent to $ 1596.98 in the past 24 hours until Wednesday morning.

Like BTC, the price of ETH also dropped around 5.54 PM on September 13 within 50 minutes. By midnight, the price had dropped to around $1,564. As of this morning, the price has recovered but is still trading near the intraday low.

The lowest price for ETH today was $1,564.03. ETH trading volume increased by 35.11 percent to $23,139,136,074.

Other altcoins: Solana (SOL) is down 11.09 percent at $33.70 today.

Ripple (XRP) stock was down 5.52 percent at $0.3346, and its 24-hour trading volume was up 34.29 percent at $1,449.058.532.

Cardano (ADA) stock fell 4.79 percent to $0.4719. Cardano’s 24-hour trading volume rose 8.3 percent to $8,261,161,174.

Binance (BNB) stock fell 4.15 percent to $279.23. The 24-hour trading volume was up 14.57 percent at $1,134,855,541.

Meme coins

Dogecoin (DOGE) is down 4.49 percent at $0.0602. The 24-hour trading volume was up 23.31 percent at $460,995,325.

Shiba Inu’s stock fell 3.83 percent to $0.0000123.

Decentralized Finance (DeFi)

Yearn.Finance (YFI) fell 4.18 percent to $9,267.68. The 24-hour trading volume was up 43.64 percent at $68,944,673.

Avalanche (AVAX) is down 9.28 percent at $19.18, and 24-hour trading volume is down 5.23 percent at $675,737,013.

Aave (AAVE) traded at a loss of 8.55 percent at $84.35, and its 24-hour volume was up 18.93 percent at $257,293,047.
