US-based Australian electronic dance music star VASSY marks her entry into the NFT space, with nine exclusive acoustic versions of her songs.
These include products made by superstars David Guetta, Teosto and Dutch producers Showtek.
The Limited Edition NFT Collectible Series is out RCRDSHPCreated a year ago as the first digital collectibles platform dedicated to electronic music.
“NFTs are a new space but I got into early last year because I saw the potential,” said the singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist.
She admits that like a lot of artists, a lot of technology is meaningless. But she was determined to find connections with her followers that were personal and cheap, which is not always possible through traditional distribution service providers.
“It’s a wonderful and unique experience. NFTs are sources of income and they are parts that you can control, which you could not control before.”
Fans who purchase a collectible can access behind-the-scenes footage of VASSY in the studio and personal videos on each track.
Collectors are rewarded with a special link to exclusive songs of their favorite songs.
Any fan who completes a bundle by purchasing the three collectibles or any VASSY artist card, will receive a signed CD of VASSY classics.
“Since the inception of RCRDSHP, VASSY has redefined the possibilities of musical NFTs,” said Obi Fernandez, its founder and CEO.
“From being a mentor to rising artists on our Women of Dance programme, to consistently topping the charts around the world, her work paves the way for others in this space to own their voices.”

“They are three cornerstones in my life, and my fans make it clear that this is important to them as well.
“They make artwork for me (inspired by) music, illustrations and poetry.
“They sent me personal messages about their lives, which of my songs helped save their lives or helped them through a bad period, and how my story inspired them to believe in themselves.
“I always tell them ‘Remember, rejection is just a redirect.
When VASSY moved to Paris, London, Stockholm, New York and Los Angeles, she was young and hungry and had to fight hard because she had no connections in the music industry.
But now there are achievements that go hand in hand with success – like two billion streams of “BAD!” He cut in 2014 with David Guetta and Showtek, performed with Tiësto at Tomorrowland in Belgium before 400,000 crazy, generating 20 platinum records worldwide.
