Miami – Cell phone cameras picked up racist off-duty slurs in South Florida in which a man used the n-word over and over.
It all happened in March outside the Infiniti Sports Institute in Miami.
Former NFL player and Virginia Tech graduate Jaydon Gayle has been called up multiple times.
“I was so scared and humiliated,” Gail said. “I didn’t necessarily know what to do because I had never been in a situation like this before.”
Gayle told Local 10 News ‘Joseph Ojo had asked the owner to test the establishment for mold, and instead of addressing the problem, the owner got so angry and started shouting racial insults not only at him, but against other people inside the sports studio.
“He ended up getting very aggressive,” Gale explained. “He told an older woman who was here to go and eat beans and rice. She is Spanish.”
Another video shows what led to the racist slurs. Gayle says the owner walked out of the sports studio with a sample of drywall that was meant to be tested for mold.
Moments later, the owner can be seen riding in a jeep. Someone can be seen trying to calm him down, but he continues to walk while he is driving.
“I’m definitely worried about revenge, I was worried about revenge when I get to my car I don’t necessarily know he’s going to do something to me if he comes back,” Gayle said.
Local 10 News has reached out to the employer seen in the video.
He said not to contact him anymore.
Gayle said there were lawyers involved and that he plans to seek legal action.
