Bismarck, ND (KXNET) – This weekend a brand new restaurant will start serving sushi to hungry diners in Bismarck.
Owners of Ja Bomb will open on Saturday at Kirkwood Mall.
Workers have taken over the former Grand China space next to Target and have spent much of this year renovating the venue, building a bar and kitchen, and installing their new fixtures.
Jabomb is authentic Japanese and serves sushi, ramen and bubble tea.
“Even once you put the bar on, the space looks completely different if you walk past it,” said Makala Auer, director of marketing for Kirkwood Mall. “Even if you had seen it before it was open in the past, you wouldn’t recognize this space. It takes a lot of blood, sweat and tears to make it happen. And I think they are really excited for everyone to see it.”
For now, the restaurant says it’s still hiring a few jobs.
Ja Bomb will be open on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM
