The fifth event of the 2022-23 season has moved from South Korea to Las Vegas and now South Carolina. The CJ Cup, formerly part of the PGA Tour Asian Swing, has been played in Las Vegas for the past two years. He has now moved to Congaree Golf Club, which has taken the Canadian Open in 2021 due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Rory McIlroy is the defending champion and led after 54 holes in his attempt to repeat against the strongest field of the fall, as 15 of the world’s top 20 players compete. This is a limited event of 78 players without pieces.
