The Negro Business and Professional Women Club in Palestine will host a virtual entrepreneurship program featuring guest speaker Tracy Benson at 6pm on Monday, October 24.
Benson will discuss some of the pros and cons that entrepreneurs should consider when starting a business.
Pinson is the proud owner and operator of “All About You” beauty salon. She said she was fortunate to open her business in 2007 here in Palestine.
Tracie is a licensed beautician for 31 years and a beauty trainer for the past 17 years
According to Pinson, she loves helping others look and feel beautiful, and this is one of her lifelong passions.
She completed several classes on hair color, natural hairstyles, eyebrows, and eyelashes to name a few.
Pinson also continues to attend hair shows in an effort to keep up with the latest styles and trends. She said the beauty industry changes daily, so you should stay educated.
Tracie also has a Mary Kay in house. She said that she is very productive in this field too and in record time has become a sales manager, and she is a second-tier motorist.
Tracy has been an entrepreneur for most of her life. She said she developed and taught others to become entrepreneurs too by carrying out God’s Word, citing Matthew 7:7-8 which states, “Ask for it to be given, and you will find, Knock, and the door will be opened,” and Habakkuk 2: 2-3 says, “Write the vision Make it clear so that when others see it, they can run with it.”
Benson said her motto is to “always believe it and if someone believes it, they can do it.”
Tracy, wife of Benjamin Benson, father and mother of five; Benjamin Jr., Ronald, Sheldon, Shanna, and Sade (Kevin). She is “Nana” for the five children of Nana.
Benson’s mother died when she was eight and was raised by her grandmother, Margie Price, for which she is very grateful. This was her driving force to become a successful business owner.
